This, like The Manicure, I felt really issued in another "dynasty" of my music. The current era. This was my first CD under the name Insert Coin(s) to
Continue. It turned out to be one of my most dynamic CDs ever. Of the
12 songs, there is only one rap song. That's a first for me. Rap is more fun to spoof because you just get so many more
words to work with and it is more of a challenge...but where am I going with this? The
name came from the fact that this is the first CD I'm putting out
officially listed as Insert Coin(s) to Continue. Before this, I have
created CDs as iisryan, iProductions and Parodx. New Challenger is a
cliché term in fighting video games to issue in a new opponent. This
fits well with the video game inspired name Insert Coin(s) to Continue.
I tie it all together in the beautifully executed intro. The cover, title, and opening skit is a parody of the Mortal Kombat series of video games.
