These are all of the rap beats that I have made (mostly on Hip Hop eJay 4 software). A few turned out well, a few didn't turn out quite as well. I do like them all, though. There are a couple that are meant to be rapped over (such as Warning (Intro) (Instrumental) and My Story) but there are also a few that are meant to stay the way they are and be enjoyed in their simplest form (such as Chalk Drawing and International Influence). It should be noted that International Influence was featured in the closing credits for the WOWAY Awards 2005, which was also created by me.
Tracklist:
1. 1st Beat -- a basic beat with some nice "violin" parts
2. 1st Beat (Remix) -- a completely new beat with a few elements from "1st Beat". It has a dark, sci-fi feel to it
3. 1st Beat (Rock Mix) -- a reworking of "1st Beat" with rock instrumentals. Sounds pretty crappy if you ask me...
4. Chalk Drawing -- a dark, gloomy, seedy underworld-esque song supposed to represent the last frantic moment of a man's life after he's been shot
5. Elite (Remix) -- a remix of a beat a friend of mine made. About 1/3 of the way into it, I scrap the old beat and throw out something completely new, keeping a few elements
6. First Night -- a classier piano beat with a 2pac-esque sound to it
7. Furious -- a song made primarily with plucking sounds. A very interesting listen
8. International Influence - a sort of neo-classical song that sort of blends the new and old sounds of music together
9. Legit -- another piano beat straight from the streets
10. May Death Come Easy -- a hard hitting beat with some reoccuring themes
11. My Story -- a beat meant to be the background to a story with similar elements all the way through
12. Warning (Intro) (Instrumental) -- a nice piano beat with a sort of Dr. Dre sound to it
