RGB: The Masterpiece, in my mind, will always be a brother album to The Hunger for Cheese. They were both written in a similar time frame and the recoding dates overlapped each other greatly. The writing of this album went especially quickly because many of the tracks were tracks I created for another project I was working on. It was a full-album parody of Eminem's 2005 release, Encore. The album was tentatively called Erocne...that's Encore backwards...yes, I know, that isn't funny. As I seem to keep forgetting, full-album parodies never work and always end up falling apart and sucking completely (I should have remembered The Comic 2004). Some of those songs (i.e. "Gravy on You" and "Home Decoration") turned out pretty badly, but there are quite a few really good songs on the album. I consider "Luke" and "Psychotherapy" to be up there with some of my best written songs, and "Online (Browsers)", while a rung lower, is a very fun and catchy song. The title of the album is a computer joke. RGB (red, green, blue) is a basic computer term to quantify and label colors. The title plays on Snoop Dogg's R&G: The Masterpiece. The connection was too good to pass up. In fact, I almost named this album The Hunger for Cheese, but I decided, finally, to save that name for my next album. The cover of the album is also a slight parody of the R&G cover.
