The only way I can really describe this album is...it was a mistake. The Chronic 2001 is an excellent and genre-defining album by the legendary Dr. Dre and, along with the release of the album, he released a separate CD that included all of the instrumentals from the album. This is like gold to a parodist. I saw the opportunity just staring me in the face...it's too bad I couldn't pull it off correctly. I sought to do a parody of every song on the album...I got about half way through, but I never finished and I never hope to go back and finish what I've started. I'm just dropping it. Anyways, there are some pretty good songs on the album...it's about 3 tracks into it that the ideas start feeling strained and crappy...
